Monadnock Mushroom Club is an organization of amateur and beginning mycologists dedicated to the study of mushrooms in their natural habitat. Via regular forays and other informational events, we encourage public participation in the advancement of mycological knowledge in the region.

The forest is south of Rte 9 in Chesterfield. Meet at the Ancient Oaks trailhead (so-called Lower Lot) on Twin Brook Rd. Driving east on Rte 9 from VT, turn south (right) on Twin Brook Rd and go ~0.1 mi to a parking lot on the left. Do not make the mistake of parking in the Upper Lot, which is very close to Twin Brook Rd’s intersection with Rte 63. 42.89982° N, 72.47638° W
